Riblee lists properties posted by owners. We verify that each owner's mobile number works, but we do not verify ownership or inspect properties. A few habits keep you safe.
See the property in person first
Always visit before committing. Photos can be old, borrowed, or of a different unit.
Never pay before you've seen it and met the owner
Do not send a deposit, token amount, or “booking fee” by UPI or bank transfer to hold a property you haven't visited. Genuine owners do not ask for this.
Be wary of prices that look too good
A large flat far below the going rate for the area is the most common scam signal.
Meet at the property, in daylight, and tell someone where you are
Take a friend along for the first visit.
Get the agreement in writing
A simple rent agreement protects both sides. Confirm the deposit, notice period, and what's included.
Report anything suspicious
Use the “Report this listing” link on any listing. We review reports and take down bad listings.
